Overview of IV100

Items and assemblies must be added to inventory using this window before they can be included in the Inventory Catalog, Warehouse Explorer, or used in a Bill of Material.

This screen also associates entity “owners” with inventory items. Clients can be comprised of various business entities or divisions. Each of these entities is distinct in terms of its daily operation. The items the warehouse distributes are each assigned an owner or owners from among these entities. An owner is the party that has paid for the item and to which the most revenue will be ascribed when it is sold. The warehouse isn’t usually an owner, but a revenue stakeholder. Multiple entities share the revenue for an item, with customizable percentages based on their business arrangement.
