Overview of IV520

This application allows the user to inquire upon and review shipments. A variety of search criteria is available to filter the inquiry into categories such as to whom, where, and when packages were shipped. Order entry and carrier tracking can also be reviewed.


  • From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Inventory
  • Double-click Shipping
  • Double-click Shipment Inquiry. You will see this screen:

The following fields are available on this screen:


Field Description
Order Number To search for a particular order number, enter it in this field. You can also click the list icon to select from a list of orders in the system
Ship Name To search by the ship name, enter it here
Ship Zip To enter by the zip code the order was shipped to, enter it here
Ship Phone To search by the phone number for the shipping contact, enter it here
Ship State Enter the state that the order was shipped to, or click the list icon to select from a list of active state abbreviations in the system
Ship Dates/To Enter the beginning and ending date of the range you wish to inquire on. You can type it in mm/dd/yyyy format or click the calendar icon to select the date
Carrier Code To search by carrier code, enter the carrier code or click the list icon to select from a list of active carriers in the system
Service Code If you wish to search by service code, enter the code here or click the list icon to select from a list of active carrier service codes in the system


When you have entered your search criteria, click Search. The shipments meeting the search criteria will appear:

To view the details of a shipment, click on the line. The details appear below:

To view the order details, double-click the line item. This will launch the Order Entry screen in view mode for this order..


If you wish to track the shipment, click the Track button on the toolbar. This will connect you to the carrier's website (if applicable), which will allow you to track the package(s).
