Overview of IV400
The Carrier Setup application is used to set up shipping-carrier information for use with shipping applications: the Neopost system and Ship Orders Manually (AR19). The steps include assigning a carrier code, entering the carrier name, and making a default setting. Carrier information can be added, edited, or deleted.
- From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Inventory
- Double-click Setup
- Double-click Carrier Setup. You will see a screen similar to this one:
To add a new carrier, click the Add button on the toolbar. The fields will enable for data entry:
The following fields are available on this screen:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Carrier Code | Enter the code that you wish to use for this carrier |
Description | Enter the description for this carrier |
Use as default? | If you wish to use this carrier as the default, enter yes. Otherwise, leave at no |
When you have finished entering the information, click Save. The carrier will be added to the list. You can now add additional carriers if desired.
