Overview of IL207

Under certain circumstances it may be necessary to print a replacement paper investment note. Suppose, for example, that the original was damaged or lost. Issuing a duplicate investment note creates a transaction record identical to the original, but assigns a different transaction ID. This enables your organization to retain a history of the replacement. To generate a duplicate note:


  • From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Financial Services
  • Double-click Investments
  • Double-click Transactions
  • Double-click 207 Issue Duplicate Note. You will see this screen:

In the Inv # field, you can type the investment number that you wish to generate the duplicate note for, or you can click the list icon to select from a list of investments in the system. Once you have entered the investment number, press enter or click Find to populate the screen:

In the Duplicate Method field, click the drop down arrow to select either Daily Batch or Immediate. If you select Daily Batch, the duplicate note will print out during your organization's daily job processing, if applicable. If you select Immediate, the note will be available to merge and print on demand.


Click Save. You will see this message:

You will now want to run IL227 - Print Investment Notes to generate the merge document. NOTE: You will have to select "Reprint" on the parameters of IL227 to generate the note. Once you have done that, you can perform the merge
