Cannot Create Duplicate Note

I am trying to issue a duplicate note for an investor. When I try, though, I get an error that reads "Cannot create a duplicate note for investment #### because a pending note printing transaction already exists". How can I generate the duplicate?

You are getting this message:

because the duplicate note was already issued - it just has not been printed. When you use the Issue Duplicate Note process, there is a second step. Once you have created the duplicate note, you have to run 227 Print Investment Notes. On the screen to print the investment notes, select Reprint Only:

You can enter the investment number or leave it blank. Select the merge method and the transfer mode (if desired), and click Start. The duplicate note will now be generated.
