Overview of DDI60INQ

Once you have granted someone access to the Online CEF application, you have the ability to view and troubleshoot their web account. In order to access this screen, you must have System Administration access.


  • From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Supervisor Menu
  • Double-click Web Users:

The Web User Account Maintenance screen will launch:

To review a user's web account, locate the user ID/name and double-click it, or click View to launch the screen:

The following information is found on this screen:


Field Description
User ID The person's web user ID
Status The status of the individual's web account
Full name The person's full name
Account locked If this is selected, the account is locked and will need to be unlocked
Email The person's email address
Language The primary language for the account
DDI Connect user ID If the individual is a user in your DDI Connect system, their web account can be linked to their DDI Connect account
Default security level The user's default security level in DDI Connect (if a DDI Connect user)
Last login The date that the person last logged in to their web account
Last logout The date that the person last logged out of their web account
Password changed The date that the person last reset their password
Pending e-mail If the account is pending activation, this field will display the email address that the pending activation email was sent to
Email verification requested The date that the email verification was sent
Password failures # of failed attempts to log in
Password reset failures # of failed attempts to reset password


View Button

If you click the View button on the toolbar, you have two options:

Actions Button

If you click the Actions button, you have the following options


Change Password

To change a web user's password, click the Actions button and select Change Password. You will see the following screen:

You can opt to type your own password (it must meet the web password settings that you established here or click the Generate Random Password button to create a new password for the user.


If you would like to send a password change notification email to the user, click the box prior to clicking OK.


Expire Password

The Expire Password option is only valid if you have established a timeframe for password validity in the Web Settings/Passwords screen. If you have established a timeframe (for example, 60 days), you can opt to expire a user's password. If you click Actions and select Expire Password, you will see this screen:

Click Yes to expire the password, no to cancel the action.


Clear Prior Passwords

If you have established a number of passwords that cannot be reused (for example, the last 10 passwords cannot be reused when a user resets) in your Web Settings/Passwords screen, you can clear the cached passwords so a user can re-use the password. To run the clear, click Actions and select Clear Prior Passwords. You will see this message:
