Unable to Link Spouse Addresses for Foreign Addresses

We are trying to update spouse records in Name/Address. We have noticed that the system will not link addresses, even for spouses, if their addresses are foreign. Why?

The program that performs the linking uses the ZIP code as part of the linking functionality. If the addresses you are working with do not have zip codes, the linking will not function properly. To rectify this, you can add zip codes to the constituent records by updating your Zip Code Listing with a ZIP to use. For example, you may set up a code for Turkey, another for Africa, etc.
