Overview of IV460
The Picking Area setup screen allows you to configure your picking areas for inventory.
- From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Inventory
- Double-click Setup
- Double-click Picking Area Setup. You will see this screen:
To add a new pick group, type the code that you wish to use and then press ENTER. You will see this message:
To proceed, click yes. To cancel, click No. If you selected yes, the fields now activate for data entry:
The following fields are available on this screen:
| Field | Description |

| Description | Enter a brief description of this pick group |
| Ship Area | Type the ship area code or click the list icon to select from a list of active ship area codes in the system |
| Optimize Picking? | To optimize picking, type yes |
| Auto Print Pick Ticket? | To automatically print pick tickets for this pick group, type yes |
When you have finished entering the information, click Save. The Pick Group will now be added to the system.
