Overview of IV450
The Shipping Area Setup screen allows you to configure shipping areas for inventory.
- From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Inventory
- Double-click Setup
- Double-click Shipping Area Setup. You will see this screen:
To begin adding a new ship area, type the code you wish to use in the Ship Area field and press ENTER. You will see this message:
Click Yes to proceed or No to cancel. If you click yes, the fields will now activate for data entry:
The following fields are available on this screen:
Field | Description |

Description | Enter a description for this location |
Name | Enter the name that should be used for this location |
Address | Enter the address |
City | Enter the city |
State | Enter the state abbreviation |
Host for Barcode Printer | The host providing the barcode printing services. Contact DDI Client Support for assistance with this field |
Zip | Enter the ZIP code |
Host for Scale | The host providing the scale for weighing packages. Contact DDI Client Support for assistance with this field |
Country | Enter the country for this location |
Shipping Phone | Enter the contact telephone number for this location |
When you have finished entering the information, click Save. The ship location will now be added to the system.
