Named Fund Credit Memo Approval
Overview of CR17UPD
If your organization has elected to require that named fund credit memos must be approved prior to payments being processed, the Credit Memo Approval screen allows you to do so.
- From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Daily Cash Processing - FR
- Double-click Credit Memo Approval. You will see this screen:
The following fields are available on this screen:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Start date | Enter the beginning date of the range you wish to report on. You can type it in mm/dd/yyyy format or click the calendar icon to select the date |
Credit memo # | Enter the credit memo number to search for a specific memo |
End date | Enter the ending date of the range you wish to report on. You can type it in mm/dd/yyyy format or click the calendar icon to select the date |
Checking account | To search by memos associated with a particular checking account, click the drop down arrow to select from a list of active checking accounts in the system |
Show only unapproved credit memos | if selected, only unapproved credit memos will appear in the search results |
Click Search. Any memos matching the search parameters you entered will appear in the results screen:
To approve a single memo, click it once to highlight and then click Approve. To approve all memos meeting your search parameters, click Appr All. The Approval column will now show the approval level:
If you need to reverse the approval of any credit memo, click it once to highlight and then click Unapprove on the toolbar. The approval level will be reduced so that payments cannot be processed.
Once they have been approved, you can Process Credit Memo Payments.
