Loan Past Due Statements

Overview of IL627
This report allows you to generate past due statements for your borrowers. In most cases, this report is set up to run via your periodic job processing, traditionally at month end. After running the report, you will want to merge and print the actual notices, which is done via the merge system. For information on merging documents, reference this page: Merging Documents. To run the report:
- From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Financial Services
- Double-click Loans
- Double-click Reports
- Double-click 627 Loan Past Due Statements. The parameters screen will launch:
You have the following options on this screen:

Base date | Enter the base date for the statements. You can type it in mm/dd/yyyy format or click the calendar icon to select a date | ||||||||
Loan types | If you wish to filter the statements by loan type, you can do so with this field. To generate statements for selected loan types, you can type the loan type code or codes here, separated by commas, or click the list icon to select from a list of available loan types in the system. Leave the field blank to generate statements for all loan types. | ||||||||
Loan categories | If you wish to filter the statements by loan category, you can do so with this field. To generate statements for selected loan categories, you can type the loan category code or codes here, separated by commas, or click the list icon to select from a list of available loan categories in the system. Leave the field blank to generate statements for all loan categories. | ||||||||
Loan monitors | If your organization utilizes the loan monitor functionality and you wish to generate statements for only those loans that have particular loan monitors assigned, you can do that here. You can enter one or more loan monitor codes, separated by commas, or click the list icon to select from a list of active loan monitors in the system. Leave this field blank to generate statements for all loans, regardless of monitor. | ||||||||
Status of loans to process | Select from the dropdown whether to process All Loans, Interest-Only Loans, or Regular loans | ||||||||
Due date range/thru | If you wish to generate statements for only those loans with a due date that falls within a specified range, you can enter that here. You can type the dates in a mm/dd/yyyy format or click the calendar icons to select the appropriate dates. | ||||||||
Original form | This field tells the system what form code to use when creating the original copies of the statements. Click the list icon to select the appropriate form. | ||||||||
Copy form | This field tells the system what form code to use when creating the copies of the statements. Click the list icon to select the appropriate form. | ||||||||
Loan number | If you wish to generate a statement for a particular loan, you can do so here. Enter the loan number or click the list icon to select from a list of loans in the system. Leave the field blank to generate statements for all loans. | ||||||||
Merge Method | Click the list icon to select the method desired to create the notices. Your options are:

Use default loan pmt date | Check this box to use the system default loan payment date instead of the payment date entered in Loan setup | ||||||||
Exclude loans based on late fee: | Select from the dropdown whether to exclude loans based on a late fee. The available options are None, Exclude with no late fee and Exclude late fee exempt. |

Merge Form Selection Rules
Based on user-provided report criteria
Print Options
After clicking the Print Options button you will see the following options. Choose the desired options and click OK to return to the report parameters screen.
Option | Description |
---|---|
Printer | Click the drop down arrow to select from a list of available printers. DDI Connect uses your default printer unless told otherwise |
Format | Click the drop down arrow to select from a list of available formats. Select paper size, number of columns, and number of rows for printing. Each report has built-in format defaults. Select “Use Defaults” to use the built-in report defaults. The number of rows and columns controls the print size and amount of information per page |
Memo | If you wish, you can add a memo to the output of the report. NOTE: It is recommended that Word documents be saved with the .docx extension |
View Report | This option generates a pdf file that is displayed on the screen when the report is generated |
Archive Report | If this option is selected, the system will archive the report in the DDI Connect report archives. For information on working with archived reports, please reference this page: Archived Report Viewer |
Print Report | If selected, the system will generate the report output to your default printer. NOTE: You will also receive a pdf version of the report, displayed on your screen |
Print via PDF | Prints directly to your printer. |
This option allows you to send a .pdf attachment of the report to the indicated users' email addresses. When OK is clicked, a dialog box will open requesting a recipient | |
Duplex/Top | Prints the report on both sides of the paper in landscape style. The printer must be capable of printing on both sides or an error will occur |
Duplex/Side | Prints the report on both sides of the paper in portrait style. The printer must be capable of printing on both sides or an error will occur |
Green bar | Adds shaded, horizontal bars to the report, making it easier to read across columns |
No dialog | Selecting this option means that no ‘Report Completed’ dialog will display after the report has been generated |
Extra copies | If you want extra copies of the report generated, type the number in this field |
Click Start. You will see a pdf report summary that provides information on the statements that were created. Click the icon below to view a sample of this output.
You will now want to go over to the merge system and merge and print the notices. Click the icon below to view a sample of past-due loan statements.
Security Function
Users must pass the security function listed below in order to run this report.
