Loan Change History
Overview of IL404
There are certain events in the life cycle of a loan that are logged automatically as entries in the loan’s change history. These entries consist largely of changes to maturity dates, interest rates, regular payment amounts, special payment amounts, and reserve payment amounts. A sortable change history is accessible at any time through the Detailed Loan Inquiry. To view the Loan Change History:
- From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Financial Services
- Double-click Financial Inquiry
- In the loan number field, enter the loan number you wish to work with. You can also click the list icon to display a list of all loans within the system
- Once you reach the Detailed Loan Inquiry screen, click View and select Loan Change History. You will see a screen similar to this one:
The following information is available on this screen:
Field/Column | Description |

Start date | If you wish to view only those changes on or after a certain date, you can do so here. Type the date in mm/dd/yyyy format or click the calendar icon to select the date. Press enter after selecting the date to filter the screen by the chosen date |
Loan # | Displays the loan # that you are currently viewing changes for |
Change Code | Displays the code associated with the type of change |
Description | Displays the loan change code description |
Date | Displays the date of the change |
Prior Value | Displays the value prior to the change |
New Value | Displays the value after the change |
If you wish to view the complete before/after information for a transaction, click once to highlight and then click the History button on the toolbar. This will launch the Edit History screen for that transaction. When you have finished viewing the before/after details, click Exit to return to the Loan Change History screen.
If you right click on a column header, you can opt to display the change history in a spreadsheet:
When you have finished viewing the information, click Exit to return to the Detailed Loan Inquiry screen.
