Gift Upgrades

What is meant by a gift upgrade or gift upgrade amount?

When the system mentioned a gift upgrade, it is an option within the system that allows you to automatically suggest gift amounts for a donor's next gift.

For example, if your organization sets the upgrade percentage to be 10%, and a donor gives $100, the gift receipt might say something along the lines of "Thank you for your gift of $100. Next time, would you consider giving $110". Or, you can configure an area of the gift receipt to prompt for suggested gift amounts.

These settings are configured in the General FR System Setup area, on the Receipt Options screen.
