Deleting an Investment
Overview of IL217
DDI Connect allows you to delete an investment, as long as there are no transactions such as deposits, redemptions, etc. This functionality is primarily intended for situations where an investment was created in error, or the investor changes their mind before depositing funds, etc.
NOTE: This process will ONLY work if there are no outstanding transactions for the investment you are attempting to delete. If you created a new investment, for example, then realized it was done incorrectly before daily processing or FW20 (Post Transactions to GL) were run, you can use the Financial Transaction Erase functionality to remove the investment.
- From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Financial Services
- Double-click Investments
- Double-click Transactions
