Why Doesn't the New Maturity Date Match the Old?

We ran our Maturity Processing on Monday. Some of the investments matured over the weekend. Their new maturity dates are not the same as the old...they now mature one or two days later than they did. Why would they do that?

If you have Saturday and Sunday set up to be “work days” within your Job Calendar, if an investment’s maturity date falls on those days and is not processed, the new maturity date will be the date that you processed the extension (i.e., the following Monday). So, if you have configured job processing to view weekends as work days, you will have to set up the maturity processing jobs to run on the weekends as well.
