Void an Investment Check

We inadvertently issued a check for an investment. How do we void it?

Investment and Loan checks do not allow you to void them, due to the checks and balances built in to the system. You can use the Investment re-deposit process to put the funds back in to the investment.

What you will do is create a cash batch for the amount of the check and re-deposit it into the investment. You may then have to make financial adjustments to correct accrued interest. If additional GL adjustments need to be made, you can then make those adjustments as needed.
