In reviewing the 1099 file we are about to transmit to the IRS, we noticed that DiscipleData information is appearing at the top of the file. Should that be there?
Yes, that information should be present. If you review, you will see a "V" appearing before the DiscipleData information. This indicates to the IRS that DiscipleData is the vendor hosting the software that is providing the 1099 information.
