Recalculate Investor AICs
Overview of IL871
The Recalculate Investor AICs report reviews account information code for investors and updates the codes based on investment status and other factors. This program will only add or update AI codes that are present in the system...if your organization does not utilize one or more of the listed AI codes, they will not be added to the constituents' AI codes. The calculations include:
- If an active investor, use “INVA”
- If a former investor (all investments are closed), use “INVR”
- If a dormant investor, use “INVD”
- If an extended investor, use “INVI”
- If the primary investor (marked as the Tax ID in the account), add "INVP"
- If the secondary investor (linked to the investment account but NOT the reporting tax id), add "INVS"
- If the primary investor without any open investments, add "IPDP"
- If the secondary investor without any open investments, add "IPDS"
- If the primary on dormant investments, add "DORP"
- If the secondary on dormant investments, add "DORS"
- If the primary on inactive investments, add "INAP"
- If the secondary on inactive investments, add "INAS"
- If the account is an IRA holder, add "IRA"
- If the account is a former IRA holder, add "IRAF"
- If the account is an IRA beneficiary, add "IRAB"
