Overview of WP05

The Merge Record Inquiry screen allows you to search for and view merge records by Name PIN, form code or a date range.


  • From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Merge Forms System
  • Double-click Merge Record Inquiry. You will see this screen:

The following search fields are available on this screen:


Field Description
Name PIN To search all merge forms for a particular Name PIN, you can type the PIN or click the icon to search for the individual you wish to search for
Form code To search for all merge documents using a particular merge form, type the form code here or click the list icon to select from a list of active forms in the system
Start date Enter the beginning date of the range you wish to report on. You can type it in mm/dd/yyyy format or click the calendar icon to select the date
End date Enter the ending date of the range you wish to report on. You can type it in mm/dd/yyyy format or click the calendar icon to select the date


When you have entered your search parameters, click Search. The search results will appear below:

If you wish, you can re-merge a document by clicking once to highlight and then clicking the Merge button on the toolbar.


To view the detail of a record, double-click it. This will launch the Single Record Detail screen:

What you see on this screen will depend on which form you elected to view. You have the option of modifying certain fields on this screen...any field NOT marked with a * can be modified. You can then save and exit, and re-merge if you wish to do so.


When you have finished viewing the information, click Exit.
