Maturity Response Received After Maturity Date

We received an investor's response to their maturity notice after the investment had passed the maturity date. What happens in a situation like that? Will the interest continue to accrue?

The system will handle investment interest according to how you have set it up within the Investment System Setup.

If you go to Financial Services --> Investments --> Setup, and double-click on Investment System Settings, you can see what selection was made:

If this box is checked, investments will continue to accrue interest after maturity, but will not automatically pay out interest after maturity. If it is NOT checked, investments will stop accruing interest at maturity.
