Overview of IRS06

The DDI Connect IRS Reporting System allows organizations to set up the forms used to report 1099 earnings to vendors and other individuals (such as investors). To set up your IRS forms:


  • From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click IRS Reporting System
  • Double-click Setup
  • Double-click Forms Setup. You will see a screen similar to this one:

To add a new form, click the New button on the toolbar. The fields activate for editing:

Enter the form number and name. The abbreviation field is not required, but you can utilize it for reference if you wish. The return code is the IRS return code for this form. If you are not sure what that code is, contact DDI Client Support for assistance.


Click Save. The form has now been added, and you can now proceed to setting up the appropriate boxes. For information on how to set up the boxes, reference this page: IRS Reporting Box Setup
