How is the Penalty Amount Calculated on Investment Payouts?

We are doing a payout on an investment, and we are wondering how the penalty amount is being calculated?

The penalty percentage rate is configured within Investment System Settings, on the Penalty/Withhold tab. The system multiples this percentage by the full investment amount to calculate the penalty. If your organization utilizes other methods for assessing penalties, you can modify the penalty method on this tab.
