How Do I Change an Investment's Interest Rate?

We have negotiated an interest rate with an investor, and now need to update the rate on the investment. How can that be done?

If the investment is not in a category or type that has tiered rates assigned, you can modify the interest rate via the Investment Maintenance screen. If, however, tiers are assigned to the investment type, you cannot modify the interest rate.

DDI recommends creating additional investment categories and types for negotiated interest rates. That way, you have the ability to modify interest rates as they are negotiated with investors.
