Generate Mailing List of Investors

I need to get a mailing list of all of our investors. How do I do that?

You will use the Extract Module to pull this data.


  • From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Extract Module
  • Double-click Information Query
  • Click the Name tab. You will see this screen:

First, make sure Accounts is selected, NOT constituents. Next, if your organization utilizes the automatic AI codes for investors (INVA, INVD, INVR), you can utilize those AI codes to pull the information. In the AI Codes to include field, add INVA (for active investors). Your Name tab now looks like this:

You can now proceed to step three (the data output).


NOTE: If you do NOT utilize the automatic AI codes, proceed to the next step (Other forms).


  • Click the Other forms tab
  • On the screen that appears, click the drop down arrow to the right of the Criteria form field and select Investment Information. This form will appear:

You will select "Must have" next to Active Investments:

  • Click the Outputs tab. Click the drop down arrow to the right of the Output format field and select Data File. You will see this screen:

Select the options you wish to use for the Data file. When you are ready to do so, click Start.


This will generate a csv file that you can then use to merge as desired.
