Fixed Assets Inquiry

Overview of FA11

The Fixed Assets Inquiry screen allows you to search for fixed assets using a variety of search parameters.

• From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Fixed Assets
• Double-click Fixed Assets Inquiry. You will see this screen:

The following fields are available on this screen:

Field	Description
Asset #	To search by asset #, enter the number here
Class	Enter the class code or click the list icon to select from a list of active class codes in the system
Location	Enter the location code or click the list icon to select from a list of active location codes in the system
Room	Enter the room code or click the list icon to select from a list of active room codes in the system
Description	To search by description of the asset, enter all or part of a description name. For example, if you wish to search for all sculpture assets, enter Sculpture in the description
Tag ID	Enter the tag ID you wish to search for
Serial number	Enter the serial number you wish to search for
Manufacturer	To search by manufacturer, enter all or part of the manufacturer name
Vendor ID	Enter the vendor ID or click the list icon to launch the advanced search screen
Exclude disposed assets	Select this option if you wish to exclude disposed assets from the search results
Exclude non capital assets	Select this option if you wish to exclude non capital assets from the search results

When you have entered your search parameters, click Search. The inquiry results will appear as such:

To view the Asset, double-click the line. This will launch the Fixed Assets Entry screen for this particular asset. When you have finished viewing the information, click Exit to return to the Inquiry results.
