Overview of FR401SET

Before your organization begins using the Connect-FR Events module, there is an Events Setup window where you must lay the groundwork. Certain components of Events will not work properly in the absence of some or all of the setup information described below.


  • From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Connect FR
  • Double-click Event & Program Management
  • Double-click Event & Program Setup. You will see this screen:

To edit the fields on this screen, click the Edit button on the toolbar. The fields will now be activated:

The following fields are available on this screen:


Field Description
Sister Agency AI code Enter the AI code associated with sister agencies in the system. You can type the code or click the list icon to select from a list of active AI codes in the system
Program label Customized term used in place of the word “program” in the program record
Promo type for programs Promotion type code(s) associated with program transactions. You can either enter the promo type code or click the list icon to select from a list of active promo type codes in the system
Event item group type The inventory item group type that you want to be available when users create orders for events. These item groups are user defined and set up in the Inventory system
Program item group type The inventory item group type that you want to be available when users create orders for programs. These item groups are user defined and set up in the Inventory system


When you have finished entering the information, click Save to retain your changes.
