Delete an Item from a Cash Batch

Can we delete an item that was added to a cash batch in error?
Yes you can, if the item has not been processed. To do so:
- From the DDI-Connect main menu, double-click Financial Services
- Double-click Data Processing
- Double-click Cash Receipts Stage 1:
- First, make sure the date is correct for the batch date you are needing to edit. Next, click either mailroom or cashier batch, based on the type of batch you are editing:
This will display a list of batches matching your date/batch type criteria:
- Select the batch that contains the item you are wanting to delete, and then click the Open icon on the toolbar:
This will open the batch for editing, and display the items in the batch:
- Click the item you wish to delete, then click the Delete icon on the toolbar:
You will see this warning message:
- If you are sure you wish to delete, click Yes. The item will be removed from the batch:
You can now click the "Close Batch" icon or click the X in the upper right corner to close your batch:
