Can I Reopen a Fiscal Year Once It Has Been Closed?

We have discovered some modifications that need to be made to a closed fiscal year. Can we reopen the fiscal year?

Yes, you can reopen a closed fiscal year. To do so, you'll use the Close Period/Year screen. From that screen, change the year in the "Changing settings for fiscal year" to the year you wish to modify.

The first item on the screen will change to "Reopen fiscal year XXXX". Click Apply. This re-opens the fiscal year so you can make the needed adjustments.
