These characters are used to format certain code sets within DDI-Connect. DDI strongly recommends that you request assistance from DDI Client Support prior to modifying any code set where the macros are used.
Formats:

| none | Full name |
| F | First name |
| L | Last name |
| P | Prefix abbr |
| S | Suffix |
| N | Nickname (first name, if nickname not avail) |
Positions for name macros
| Position | Description |
|---|---|
| 1-99 | First constituent, second constituent, etc. |
| # | Last constituent |
| T | Tax payee constituent |
| A | Address PIN |
| * | All constituents that haven't already been included |
Modifiers for name lines
| Modifier | Description |
|---|---|
| & | Add constituent at next position |
| + | Include all constituents >=this position |
| ! | Omit entire line if there is no constituent in this position |
| - | Suppress this constituent |
