Overview of NA14
AIC Group Codes Maintenance establishes a grouping of account-information (AI) codes. After your organization enters the group code in a name record, the code is replaced with the individual AI codes included in that grouping. For example, if you create a group called LOAN, with three AI Codes in that group, when you add the AI code of LOAN to a constituent record, it will be replaced with the three AI Codes in the group.
- From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Name/Address Setup
- Double-click Setup
- Double-click AIC Group Codes Maintenance. You will see a screen similar to this one:
To add a new group, click the Add button on the toolbar:
The following fields are available on this screen:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Group Code | Enter a 4 character, alphanumeric code for this group |
| Account list | Enter the codes to be associated with this group. You can type the codes, separated by commas, or click the list icon to select from a list of active AI Codes in the system |
| Description | Brief, alphanumeric description of the code grouping |
When you have finished adding the information, click Save to retain your changes.
