Installing Citrix

In order to use Citrix (either via the web/internet or using the Program/Client Neighborhood), you must install the Citrix Reciever.
- Go to www.ddi.org and click the Client Login tab:
- Click the link that reads "Click here to get latest DDI supported Citrix Client for Windows":
- You will get this prompt:
- Click RUN
- Click Install
- You will see a message stating that the receiver installed successfully:
- Click Add Account
- Once the installation is complete, it will prompt you for the server address. Type https://connect.ddi.org and click "Next":
- You are now finished with the client installation. You will see this prompt:
- Click finish
- Launch Internet Explorer and go to connect.ddi.org:
- You may see an Allow box like the one displayed below:
- If you do, click ALLOW
- Enter your username and password
- Click “OK” to log in
NOTE: If this is your first time logging in after receiving a new password, you will need to use the Citrix Web Access site instead of this login window:
- Browse out to https://connect.ddi.org
- Log in. This site will ask you to change your password.
NOTE: Please remember when you change your password to make it at least 8 characters long and contain at least one number and one capitol letter. Also, you cannot use any part of your name or a recently used password
NOTE: if you get a security warning from Citrix:
Select "do not ask me again" and then click Permit use.
Follow to steps below to login to Citrix Reciever:
- Enter DDI\ and then your user name:
- Add apps
- Click on All Applications
- Click on the your apps.
- A green check mark means they are added.
- Click the background when you have all the apps you want selected.
- Run your apps
