Overview of FW11
The General Journal Inquiry screen allows you to search for journal documents based on a combination of parameters.
- From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click FundWriter
- Double-click General Journal Inquiry. You will see this screen:
The following fields are available on this screen:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Fiscal year | Enter the fiscal year that you wish to search. The system will default to the current fiscal year |
Document # | Enter the document number you wish to search for, if known |
Reference | If you wish to search by reference, type the information here |
Created by | You can type the user name or click the list icon to view a list of all users set up in the system |
Tran date/thru | Enter a beginning, ending or date range to search. You can type the date in mm/dd/yyyy format or click the calendar icon to select |
G/L Account | Type the G/L account number or click the list icon to select from a list of active G/L accounts in the system |
Document memo | If you wish to search by document memo, you can do so here. You can type a word or a partial word followed by the *. For example, you can search Test or Test*, but you cannot search *test |
Line item memo | If you wish to search by line item memo, you can do so here. You can type a word or a partial word followed by the *. For example, you can search Test or Test*, but you cannot search *test |
