The Business Date is traditionally automatically changed as part of the periodic job processing process. Click Yes. This will prevent any financial transactions from being entered while you are changing the business date. You will now see this screen:

At the top of the screen, you will see the current and new business dates:

If you wish to adjust the new business date beyond the default that is displayed, you can do so by clicking the up or down arrows next to the date.

The "Restrict new business date to work days" is checked by default. You can uncheck that box if your organization intends to work over the weekend and you wish to utilize the days as business dates.

In the Verification date field, type the new business date. This confirms that the New business date above is correct. If the dates do not match, the system will not change the date. You must type it in mm/dd/yyyy format.

Overview of DDI56

The Business Date is traditionally automatically changed as part of the periodic job processing process. However, if your organization does not utilize job processing, you may have to manually adjust the business date. In order to complete this process, you must have system administrator permissions.


  • From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Processing Monitoring
  • Double-click Change Business Date. If your organization utilizes the Investment/Loan system, you will see this prompt:

Click Yes. This will prevent any financial transactions from being entered while you are changing the business date. You will now see this screen:

At the top of the screen, you will see the current and new business dates:
