You can enter your username and password. The domain is “DDI”. Click “OK” to log in. If this is your first time logging in after receiving a new password you will need to use the Citrix Web Access site instead of this login window. Browse out to https://connect.ddi.org and login here. This site will ask you to change your password. Please remember when you change your password to make it at least 8 characters long and contain at least one number and one capitol letter. Also, you cannot use any part of your name or a recently used password

NOTE: Citrix has recently stopped providing the download for the Citrix Online Plugin. The installation will now place the Citrix Receiver on your PC, rather than the plugin.


Installing the Citrix Receiver

In order to use Citrix (either via the web/internet or using the Program/Client Neighborhood), you must install the Citrix Receiver. To do so:


  • Launch an internet browser and go to www.ddi.org
  • Click the Client Login link:

  • From the screen that appears, locate the Citrix Login link. Just beneath that, click the "Click here to get the latest DDI supported Citrix client":

  • At the bottom of your internet browser screen, you will see this prompt:

  • Click Run
  • The program will download and run:

  • Depending on your computer's security settings, you may see this prompt:

  • Click Yes to allow the program to make the necessary changes
  • The Citrix Receiver Setup prompt will now appear:

  • Click Install
  • When the installation completes, you will see this screen:

  • You will see the completion screen:

  • Click Finish


Logging in to Citrix Receiver

At this point, the Citrix Receiver may automatically open and prompt you to log in. If it does not, launch your internet browser and go to: https://connect.ddi.org and log in from that screen


  • You will see the Citrix Receiver login:

  • In the Domain\User screen, enter DDI\ followed by your user name. For example: DDI\smiller
  • In the password field, enter your Citrix password. Your screen should look like this:

  • Click Log On
  • You will now see your Citrix Receiver screen:

  • To add your applications, click the + tab to Add Your Favorite Apps. You will see this screen:

NOTE: If you don't see your applications, click the All Applications text - your list of applications will appear on the right


  • To add an application to your screen, click it on the list. As you select applications, a green check mark will appear to the right of the menu item, and the icon will be added to your screen:

  • When you are done adding applications, click the green area of your screen. You will be returned to your Citrix Receiver screen:

  • To launch DDI-Connect, click ONCE on the icon. This will launch the appropriate DDI-Connect environment:
