The fastest and easiest way to correct this issue is to delete the gift. When you do, the system will ask you if you wish to delete this record. Click yes. The system will now prompt you to enter the GL date for the deletion

We recently discovered that a gift had been entered with an incorrect promo type, and the incorrect GL accounts referenced. The entries have already posted to the General Ledger. Is there any way for us to correct this?

The fastest and easiest way to correct this issue is to delete the gift. When you do, the system will ask you if you wish to delete this record. Click yes. You can now proceed through the process...if you wish to reprocess the gift, you will have the option to do so.
