This G/L Account Cannot Be Used with this Application

I am trying to enter a miscellaneous cash receipts entry. I keep getting an error "This G/L account cannot be used with this application"

When you get this error, it means that the "allowed sources" on the account have not been configured to allow entries from the application you are trying to use (in this case, general entries). To correct:

• Double-click FundWriter
• Double-click FundWriter Setup
• Double-click Chart of Accounts Entry
• Locate the General Ledger account in question
• Double-click the account. On the Account Details screen, look at the Allowed sources field:

If there is any information in this field, the system will restrict any source NOT listed in this field. To correct, click the list icon to select from a list of available sources in the system.
