Overview

Pledges and recurring gifts are two methods donors can use to indicate their intention to contribute funds to your organization over a period of time. Pledges, which are not considered a gift, are actually a promise of future payment by a specific date. Within the Connect-FR system, a pledge exhibits aspects of a recurring gift if a payment schedule is established. Note that recurring gifts are generally gifts which a donor presents to your organization on a regular basis without a necessary “end date” and may continue for an unspecified length of time.
