Overview of IL708

Some portfolio vehicles such as money-market accounts or shares of stock produce income at regular intervals during the course of the investment. In this case the incoming funds must be recorded as cash transactions through Daily Cash Processing. With other vehicles such as bonds or CDs the gain is realized at the end of the investment period. In this case the earnings are recorded as part of the redemption process. The process described here is meant to be used whenever income has been received from a portfolio investment prior to redemption of the investment.


Once you have recorded the items in Cash Processing Stage 1, you can process the interest receipts.


  • From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Financial Services
  • Double-click Data Processing
  • Double-click Payment Processing. You will see a screen similar to this one:

Locate the batch you created, and click it so that it is open. You will see the list of items in that batch:
