Loan Budget
Overview of IL492UPD
The Loan Budget Maintenance screen for a Loan allows you to budget line items to help understand how borrowers are utilizing their funds and assists in helping your organization to make business decisions about specific loans (i.e., more funding? reasonable expectations in the budget? etc.)
To set up a Loan Budget for a Loan:
- From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Financial Services
- Double-click Financial Inquiry
- In the loan field, type the loan # you wish to work with. You can also click the list icon to display a list of all loans within the system
- From the Detailed Loan Inquiry screen, click View and select Loan Budget. You will see a screen similar to this one:
Adding Budget
In the Loan Budget Maintenance screen, click to Add:
The following fields become available:
Column | Description |
---|---|
Purpose | Enter the purpose of this specific budget line item |
Budget Amount | Enter the budget amount for this specific budget line item |
Advance amount | Enter the amount advanced for this specific budget line item |
Amount remaining | Field that calculates how much of the budget line item is left dependent on the budgeted and advanced amount. The amounts at the top of the screen will also populate/calculate as you populate this information. |
Once you have entered all the information, Save. Repeat the above steps as many times as necessary for the Loan Budget.
Editing Loan Budget
As advances are made for the loan, or other budget adjustments need to be made, you can edit the budget by clicking "Edit" in the Loan Budget Maintenance screen:
Once you are satisfied with the edits, click to Save
Delating Loan Budget
You can delete a budget line item by clicking "Delete" in the Loan Budget Maintenance screen:
You will receive a pop-up. Click "Yes" to confirm the deletion, or "No" to return to the Budget Maintenance screen:
