We discovered that some interest did not get paid out to an investor last year. How do we correct the 1099 information?

If the interest is being paid out this year, DDI does not recommend altering the information for the previous year. In order to provide accurate audit and IRS reporting, you will want to include the interest in the current year's reporting, not the previous year.
