The Loan Correspondents screen allows you to view any loan correspondents associated with a particular loan. You can view information such as the correspondent category, PIN, ABA (Routing) number, bank account, bank name, and other associated fields. To view a loan's correspondents:


  • From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Financial Services
  • Double-click Financial Inquiry
  • Look up the loan that you wish to view
  • On the toolbar, click View and select Loan Correspondents:

When the screen loads, you will see something similar to this:

To add a new correspondent, click the 'Add' button on the toolbar. The correspondent fields will now activate:

You have the following options:


Field Description
Correspondent The dropdown allows you to choose the description of the correspondent you are adding. Ex. Beneficiary, Borrower, Cosigner, etc.
Pin You can manually enter the constituent pin, you can use the binocular icon to search for the pin, you can choose the icon with the '+', and the system will pick the next pin in sequence, and take you to the screen to add a constituent, or finally, you can choose the icon with the 'pencil' and the system will take you to the screen to enter a new constituent with a pin of your choosing.
ABA (Routing) number Enter valid ABA (Routing) number.
Bank Account Enter valid Bank Account number.
Bank Name Enter valid Bank Name.
Account type Choose the account type from the dropdown. The choices are Checking or Savings.
EFT format Choose the appropriate EFT format from the dropdown. The choices are (None), ACH, Bank wire, or SWIFT.
Wire memo You can enter a memo as a reminder or for documentation/audit purposes.
Checkboxes There are two checkboxes that, when checked, will send receipts and/or statements to the correspondent. You may choose one, both, or neither.


When you are done adding the appropriate information, you can click 'Save' to save the correspondent record.

You can also edit a current correspondent record by highlighting the correspondent and clicking 'Edit'.

This will open all the Fields listed above in the 'Add' section for you to edit as needed. When you are done editing, click 'Save' to save your edits.

There are two additional choices in the toolbar: Delete and History.

The 'Delete' option will delete a highlighted correspondent record.

The 'History' option allows you to see all the entries that have been made on the highlighted correspondent record.

When you are done in the Loan Correspondent screen you can click 'Exit' which will take you back to the Detailed Loan Inquiry screen.
