I have some volunteers that will be assisting us with an event. Is it possible for me to restrict them to just the Event Registration menu of the system?

Yes it is, but it requires system administration access to perform. If you do not have system administration access, contact your internal DDI system administrator or DDI support for assistance.

To restrict a user, do the following:

  • Click Admin from the toolbar and select User:

  • Select the user you wish to modify and either double-click or click Edit:

  • Click the Defaults tab:

In the Startup menu field, enter the appropriate code for the menu you wish to restrict the user to. For example:

EV = Event Registration NA = Name/Address IL = Investment & Loan CW = CheckWriter

Click OK. The next time the user logs in, they will be launched directly to the set menu.
