Overview of Code Set 0521
This code set tells the system how to calculate investment premiums. To access the code set:
- From the DDI Connect main menu, double-click Name/Address System
- Double-click Setup
- Double-click Codes Maintenance
- Double-click code set 0521. You will see a screen similar to this one:
To add a new code, click the New button. The code parameters screen will launch:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Code | Unique, two digit numeric code identifying the premium calculation method |
Active | If checked, the code is active and available for selection |
Description | Description of the code |
Security | This function utilizes the DDI-Connect Security codes. For a thorough understanding of how security works within DDI-Connect, we recommend you reference the Security document located here: Security Function Maintenance
To set security on a specific code, you would enter the requirements in this format: !NA/7 or #NA. These are just examples...you can use whatever security function you like in order to restrict access to a code. |
Additional Days | Indicates the number of additional days' interest to include in the calculation |
Numeric value 2 | This field is utilized by DDI when interfacing with third party applications |
Premium % | Indicates the premium percentage for the interest calculation |
Text value 2 | This field is utilized by DDI when interfacing with third party applications |
