Once you’ve set up a tickler record on a particular loan, your organization can then display the reminders for a single loan or many loans via the Loan Change in Terms Report (IL612) or the Loan Master File Status Report (IL613). Overview of IL409

The Loan Tickler system is a component of the loan record that allows you to track and issue reminders about the loan as needed. Once you’ve set up a tickler record on a particular loan, your organization can then display the reminders for a single loan or many loans via the Loan Change in Terms Report (IL612) or the Loan Master File Status Report (IL613). Use either or both of these reports to access tickler information at regular intervals.

An example where Loan Tickler reminders could be beneficial is to prompt interest-rate updates or changes in payment amounts for loans where these are due. Either of the reports described above could be incorporated into your business’ job-processing sequence. This would ensure the report is automatically generated with whatever regularity you deem necessary.

The reminders themselves would be included in the report according to the review date in the tickler record. If the date range of the report encompasses the review date on the tickler record, a reminder is included. Once the tickler item has been completed, it is no longer displayed in the reports.

Note: You must run the Loan Master File Status Report (IL613) in detail mode in order to display tickler information
