What is the difference between Accounts and Constituents?
It is important to understand the difference between Accounts and Constituents when it comes to DDI records. The easiest way to view it is that Accounts are set up for Constituents who have certain types of financial relationships with your organization. You can have constituents who do not have accounts, but you will not have any accounts that do not have constituent records.
Accounts are required for:
- Donors
- Loans
- Investments
