The Calendar Setup is used for entering date codes on specific days for the jobs with those date codes to run in the job processor. Overview (DDI42)

The Calendar Setup is used for entering date codes on specific days for the jobs with those date codes to run in the job processor. For example, if a calendar date has the date code WB (Week Begin), all jobs having the WB date code are scheduled to run on that day. Monday through Friday contain the date code WD (Work Day) by default; therefore, WD does not display on the calendar for Monday through Friday. If work day processing needs to be performed on a weekend, then WD must be entered in the Saturday and/or Sunday dates. Several job cycles may be set to run on a given date. (For example, 22nd jobs are almost always combined with WD jobs, and EOM jobs can be combined with Quarterly, Semi-Annual and Annual jobs, etc.) If the client observes holidays, the holidays should have HD (holiday) entered on the calendar and no processing occurs on those days.

Individuals with system administrator access within DDI Connect can modify the calendar. If you need to have access to this function but do not, contact your organization's DDI system administrator or call DDI Client Support for assistance.

To launch the calendar, click Admin on the main DDI Connect screen and select Calendar. The calendar will now appear:
