When you add a new type of investment, you have to register in the states that you are authorized to sell those investments in.

There are two ways to do the state registration:
Authorized to Sell in All States
If you are authorized to sell this investment type in all states, you can use the Auto registration process. Once you have set up the investment type, you will click the Auto icon on the toolbar:
